This iconic Jean Paul Gaultier jacket is one of his best known pieces and has issued in a couple of versions even up to recently. This in is dine in a safari green cotton khaki and the color acts like a neutral with most other colors. It has crisp tailored lined and a sharp cut. The detailing around the waist mimics a corset with the panels of fabric between the boning removed. This allows you to wear on its own and show some skin or allows you to contrast with color underneath. The play on the corset is picked up more at the back as it ties with a thick "shoelace" tie from the hem to upper back. He is of course known being the designer to bring facets of the foundation garment to the street and this jacket is a wearable, playful twist on that concept. Excellent, museum quality condition
